My client, a leading FMCG business, is looking to recruit an assured Financial Controller to head up an established team.
You will be a key member of this site Senior Management Team, providing financial support to assist the MD in achieving its key objectives; key elements will include providing financial analysis and insight into the operational activities of the business whilstensuring a robust control environment and balance sheet integrity.
You will be responsible for:
- Ensuring financial controls are monitored and in place throughout the site
- Reporting daily P&L & KPI's to site and Head of Finance & Head of Operations
- Reporting the weekly P&L and KPI's to site finance, includes commentary to explain operational variances against budget/forecast & prior week
- Owning the site month end process and balance sheet, ensuring balance sheet is clean
- Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUP’s, Pivot Tables and Sum Ifs etc.
- Overseeing both Weekly and Monthly Payrolls
- Liaising with Auditors
- Supporting the MD with ad-hoc tasks and projects
Ideally, you will be a qualified Accountant or Qualified by Experience with demonstrable knowledge of having worked in fast paced manufacturing/ FMCG environment.
