Veritas Education work with a variety of primary, secondary, and SEN schools across London and the surrounding areas, providing high-quality teachers and support staff for long-term, short-term, permanent, and daily supply roles. We partner with state, private, and independent schools, building strong, trusted relationships with our clients.

We are currently working with a number of primary schools in Islington that require teaching assistants for full time positions starting asap (Monday - Friday, 8.30am-4pm, term time).

As a teaching assistant you will:

- be dedicated to helping students achieve their attainment levels
- encourage students to engage proactively with their learning
- be responsible in helping to provide a safe environment for children to learn
- assist the teacher in areas also including behaviour management, consistently promoting positive behaviour, and in assisting with their general learning and development.
- have good presentation and demonstrate good articulation skills

Ideally you will already have some experience of working with children or young people, or you may be considering furthering your career in education as a teacher. You may either have a teaching assistant qualification or similar, or hold a degree.
