Seamstress / Sewing Machinist / Tailor

**Full time, permanent Sewing Machinist position available in Chatham, Kent.**
37 hours per week, Monday - Friday.
Statutory entitlements i.e. Holiday, SSP, Maternity/Paternity leave.
In house training with excellent opportunities.
Paid lunch break.

We are offering a rare opportunity to join our friendly and supportive tailoring team at our Chatham workshop who provide essential military tailoring and têxtile support to the British Army. We work on a variety of uniforms and fabrics and it is an diverseenvironment where we see a range of different activities and requests for tailoring in an ever growing sector.
- Experience of using an industrial sewing machine.
- Experience of repairing, altering and tailoring garments.
- A keen attention to detail.
- Previous customer service experience.
- Someone with a positive attitude towards work, self-motivated and able to work both independently as well as part of a team.
- A full driving license - Due to the nature of our work we may have to deliver military garments to different locations and require all of our employees to have a full driving license.
Please note that the successful applicant would be required to complete a DBS check and MOD security clearance in order to work on the MOD site.
