**About the role and our team**
Join our bank of **Casual Coaches** within the Sports Development Team at the National Sports Centre
You will be responsible for the delivery of various sports development unit initiatives, such as the School Holiday and Step into Sport programmes.
Some of your duties will include:
- ** Planning **and **delivering** fun and appropriate activities to all young people who attend the sessions
- ** Assisting** the lead coach with the organisation and delivery of the activity which may include setting up of equipment and taking registers
- **Ensuring** that the relevant equipment is available for use at all times
The Sports Development Team is committed to ensuring all children regardless of age, gender, ability or background can participate in sport and physical activities in a safe and enjoyable environment.

Please note an enhanced with barring police check is required for this post** **which the Department will cover the cost of for you. Please note if you have lived for more than 6 months outside of the UK in the last 5 years, you will be required to obtain a Letter of Good Standing from the appropriate authorities in the relevant locations, please read the guidance about how to obtain this letter.
A uniform will also be provided.
