Children and Young People Support Worker
Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of children facing unique challenges? Are you committed to providing tailored support and guidance to children with Autism, ADHD, and Learning Disabilities?
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Community Outreach Support Workers to join our team and make a significant difference to the lives of children and their families. This service is offered to children, young people and families across the north east. Our support workers can either choose to provide support local to their home address or set a radius which they would be happy to travel to and therefore provider support to a wider community.
As an Outreach Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing specialised support and guidance to children, with a number of different needs including Autism, ADHD, speech impairments and Learning Difficulties. Your primary responsibility will involve building relationships, maintaining the safety of a child, offering tailored emotional support, developing skills and empowering the young people to navigate their circumstances positively within the community.
Qualifications and Skills:
12 Months previous experience in a similar role
A valid driver's license and business insurance would be beneficial

Pay: Up to £14.25 per hour
Additional pay:
