The Sales Representative for the UK, South region will have responsibility for the MS portfolio business, customer satisfaction and responsibility for growth and expansion of direct sales in the region. In this role you will maintain and develop customer relationships both short and long term whilst looking to develop strategic key accounts by making the best use of strategic selling methods and bringing together internal resources and stakeholders.
This position is part of the Sales Organization and will be located remotely in UK with expected travel to south of UK and other regions.
**In this role, you will have the opportunity to**:
- Be fully responsible for the sales of the MS product portfolio in the geographic territory South UK, in a manner that positively reflects the company image
- Achieve sales targets, both quarterly and annually
- Provide the company with reliable business forecasts and relevant market information for the development of strategies on existing and new products.
- Participate actively in local networks of service, support, customer services, marketing and finance to maximize area performance. Perform other tasks and accept other responsibilities as determined by the regional Sales Manager
- Gather, analyse and deliver information from customer needs and competitor activity in order to develop strategies and promote products appropriate to the market
- Provide financial information including monthly, quarterly and bi-quarterly business forecasts for the region. Keep tabs on lost deals, ongoing tenders and opportunities that SCIEX will not participate in.
- Provide information on evolving customer needs to the marketing department in order to improve product promotion activities and new product development
**The essential requirements of the job include**:
- A profound understanding of Mass Spectrometry and/or Chromatography techniques
- A proven track record of successful sales in related fields
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
