**Client Service Advisor**

As a Barclays Client Service Advisor you will be the first and single point of contact for incoming telephone enquiries (into the helpdesk) from clients, non-clients, coverage teams and other financial institutions. You will play a key role in resolving queries raised by clients in relation to their Sales Finance facility, in a timely and effective manner. Providing a world class client experience by exceeding client expectations in the manner in which the call has been handled.

We are currently operating in a hybrid working environment, meaning that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. Please discuss the detail of the working pattern options for the role with the hiring manager.

**What will you be doing?**:

- Acting as the point of contact for all queries into the helpdesk in relation to clients’ facility issues and questions, liaising with other departments as appropriate
- Treating Customers Fairly across all of Sales Finance Operations with a high focus on client and colleague experience
- Making decisions showing flexibility, pro-activeness and commercial awareness whilst ensuring compliance with Operational guidelines is met at all times
- Using proactive feedback methods to enhance client experience
- Delivering timely, accurate and effective MI to ensure the commitments to our Stakeholders and Management are maintained and met
- On-going promotion and implementation of continuous improvement activities and initiatives

**What we’re looking for**:

- Customer focused with good oral and written communication skills
- Motivated, high performing individual with proven experience of working closely with clients to build effective relationships
- Proven experience of communicating by telephone, face to face and written

**Skills that will help you in the role**:

- Previous experience of working in a Sales Finance/ Invoice Finance environment is desirable, to enable the jobholder to understand the workings of the different products
- Previous experience of working in a customer-servicing environment is desirable, to enable the jobholder to understand the types of issues and problems which occur
