**The Position**
We are currently recruiting a Cost Planner/Estimator to join Galliard Homes at our Head Office in Loughton, Essex. As a Cost Planner/Estimator, you will be part of an established commercial department working together to deliver high-end developments acrossLondon and the surrounding areas.
You will be responsible for the following duties:
- Collection and analysis of empirical construction costs data.
- Preparation of Budgets, Cost Plans or Estimates using iTWO Cost X Cost Planning and Estimating software
- Take off Quantities in accordance with the NRM1 and IPMS rules of measurement
- Attendance of pre-planning DTMs' to assist design decisions.
- Preparation of and development of formal Cost Planning model(s) in line with internal procedures.
- Preparation of Trade/Materials enquiries for Cost Planning purposes.
**The Person**
- Part qualified or working towards RICS or CIOB qualification
- Minimum 5 years' experience working for a Residential Developer or Cost Consultant
- Detailed knowledge and familiarity of Building Elemental Cost analysis, NRM1, and the IPMS
- Extensive experience in Residential New build across low rise, medium, and high-rise properties
- Knowledge of mixed use residential led developments would also be desirable.
- Experience of iTWO Cost X software desirable but not essential.
