The Site Manager will be responsible for overseeing all departments on site including warehousing, logistics, transport, purchasing and finance. The Site Manager will report directly into the MD, driving the operation through a period of growth ensuringthe site's operations run effectively.

**Client Details**

The client are a distributor of bespoke products B2B, distributing primarily in the UK with plans to grow their export market over the next 3 years.

**Description**

The key responsibilities for the role of Site Manager in Chorley will be:

- Reporting directly into the MD and being the main point of contact for all departments across the business including logistics, warehousing, purchasing and finance.
- Organising and chairing weekly meetings between departments, feeding back to the MD any key points of discussion.
- Having visibility of the site's P&L and budget, ensuring costs are kept in line.
- Communicate with developers of 3rd party softwares to provide customisation to systems used on site.
- Oversee and drive health & safety and other procedures on site.
- Have full responsibility for the site and its operations.

**Profile**
- Experience in a similar role, or be ready to take a step up.
- A strong background in managing operations (minimum 3-5 years is preferable).
- Excellent people management skills.
- An effective communicator.
- A proven track record of improving operations.
- Autonomy in a previous role.
- Have diverse experience overseeing warehousing, transport and procurement.
- Experience working in an SME.

**Job Offer**
- A salary of £40,000 p/a.
- Annual bonus.
- Company pension scheme.
- A Monday - Friday working schedule (8:30am-5:00pm).
- 23 days holiday + bank holidays (plus Christmas shutdown week).
