**Job overview**:
The Learning and Development Department is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic Clinical Skills Administrator and Assistant Trainer to join the Clinical Skills team. You should have an interest in training and education.

You will have a commitment to supporting high quality training on a range of different clinical skills teaching programmes.

You should be flexible, motivated and a team player. This is an excellent opportunity for a Nursing Associate, Assistant Practitioner or Healthcare Assistant, with an interest in developing their teaching and training skills, as well as enhancing their knowledge in administrative duties

An individually tailored induction and development programme will be made available.

You will be required to work at multiple care organisations across the Northern Care Alliance, on a 12 month fixed term contract or secondment.

**Main duties of the job**:

- Undertaking and co-ordinating a high level administrative and assistant service to the clinical skills team and practice trainers in practice across the full range of their responsibilities and duties. This includes attendance at meetings and taking and transcribing minutes, diary management, organising timetables, managing office systems, collating data, Intranet maintenance and creating documents under the direction of the relevant clinical leads.
- Support in the delivery of Clinical Skills Training within own scope of practice in both the clinical and classroom environment.
- Accountable for own actions and able to plan and organise own time, with reference to Line Manager when necessary.
- To exercise judgement in making assessments of urgent or sensitive issues either by dealing with them appropriately or ensuring they are brought to the attention of the Practice Development Nurse / Clinical Skills Business partner.
