**Would you like to build your experience working with Complex Needs and work alongside trained therapists, counsellors and psychologists?**

This is a FANTASTIC opportunity for the successful mental health assistant to work alongside the mental health co-ordinator, pastoral support and SENDco based on-site at school. You will be mentored and have the opportunity to shadow sessions and learn fromthem. Plus you will gain invaluable experience working with Special Needs and Mental Health issues. This is a great opportunity for an aspiring educational or occupational psychologist, therapeutic support worker or SEN teacher.

The SEMH School is looking for a Mental Health Assistant/Teaching Assistant who can bring enthusiasm, passion and experience to the classroom. They are looking for an SEN TA who will be proactive and adaptable and be able to use their own initiative. Resilienceand confidence to work with challenging behaviour is desirable

- Full-time, term-time Mon-Fri 8.30am to 4pm
- Ideal for Psychology/Counselling Graduates

The children in this school require teaching assistants who understand their needs, are open-minded and are up for a challenge. The children have varying needs although SEMH and autism are the main provision. Suitable experience can include working withSEN children and/or adults in any setting, even on a personal level such as with family. Level 3 qualifications+ are also required and a Degree would be most desirable.
