I have partnered with a World Class manufacturer and supplier of surfactants and associated chemicals. They offer an impressive wide range of chemical manufacturing capabilities on behalf of their global customer base.

As the Supply Chain Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in the organization by ensuring the efficient and effective flow of goods and services throughout the supply chain process alongside the supply chain and purchasing team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate and manage administrative activities, ensuring a smooth and uninterrupted flow of goods and services.
- Maintain supplier records, including supply contracts and other relevant information.
- Obtain and provide accurate price quotations for internal product requests.
- Monitor and analyse stock holdings of ad-hoc items for effective replenishment.
- Action order confirmations and ensure POs are up to date.
- Observe and analyse the entire supply chain process, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
- Collaborate with other staff members, such as sales, warehouse and logistics, to ensure smooth coordination and communication throughout the supply chain.
- Service internal requests whilst analysing spend, requirement and priority.

Key Skills:

- Proven experience in supply chain coordination or a similar role
- Attention to detail, reliable and punctual
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify inefficiencies and propose solutions
- Ability to work to deadlines and manage conflicting priorities
- Effective communication - internally and externally
- Confident phone manner
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Supportive of colleagues and a team player
- Commitment to the delivery of customer service excellence
- IT literate
- MS Office
