Due to our continued success and growing business demands, we currently have a vacancy for a **QUANTITY SURVEYOR**who is looking to progress their career, working on a diverse portfolio of projects throughout the UK, varying in sector and size. This role will be based out of our **Braintree** office, offering hybrid working once your probation period is complete.

**Key areas of responsibility will include**:

- Compilation of feasibility estimates and detailed cost plans
- Preparation of tender documentation and pre-tender estimates
- Tender analysis and compilation of contract documents
- Attending site as required
- Advising Clients and colleagues on procurement options
- Value management, value engineering

**Post Contract Responsibilities**:

- Assessment of works in progress for valuation purposes
- Client and project risk management
- Project financial control such as cost reporting, valuations
- Negotiations
- Agreement of final accounts

**You will be able to demonstrate**:

- BSc/MSc in Quantity Surveying with minimum of **3 years Quantity Surveying experience**:

- MRICS qualified or working towards Final Assessment
- PQS/Consultancy background
- Background in traditional build projects (Commercial, Residential, Healthcare, Education)
- Good IT skills with Microsoft Word and Excel systems
- Maths and English GCSE

**WHAT WE OFFER**

**Salary**: £40,000 - £50,000 DOE
**Hours**: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5pm
