We are looking for enthusiastic people to support adults with learning disabilities.

Our team provide support to individuals with a diverse range of needs, from low level support including supervision/prompting with medication, domestic tasks, shopping right through to full support with all aspects of day to day living which will includesupporting someone with their personal care needs and the cooking and preparing of meals.

At Ambient Support, we look to recruit people who have never worked in social care previously as well as people who can being a wealth of experience and knowledge to the role of Support Worker.

**Our Support Worker’s duties will be**:

- Providing social and emotional support, either at home and/or in their local community
- Supporting residents with their personal care including personal hygiene needs if required
- Support with their shopping and assisting with budgeting
- Building/maintaining relationship with friends and family of our residents
- Household tasks including cooking, cleaning and laundry
- Going out for walks, meals and other activities that supported individuals may want to experience

- You need to be a very calm, caring individual with a positive outlook
- Empathy, caring and sensitivity to the needs of others
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Computer Literate
- Car driver desirable but not essential
