**The Role**
This is a hybrid role. Although regular visits to our Plymouth HQ will be required, you will also be able to regularly work from your home office. You will be part of a multi-skilled team to deliver solutions to our clients predominantly based in the South-West but potentially elsewhere in the UK.
We are looking for a Business Support Officer to join our growing team. Your role will be to provide administrative and operational support to the company. The Business Support Officer will work closely with the management team to ensure the smooth running of the business and be responsible for a range of tasks including scheduling appointments, coordinating events and supporting marketing and social media efforts.
**Responsibilities**:
- Provide administrative support to the management team, including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, arranging meetings and taking minutes.
- Prepare and distribute internal communications, such as newsletters and memos, to keep employees informed of company news and policies.
- Support marketing activities by creating marketing material including blogs, videos and other social media posts.
- You should be able to create graphics, logos and visual content for social media platforms and websites using tools like Adobe Photoshop, Canva or Illustrator
- Provide assistance with internal audit processes.
- Providing administrative support to the bids sales team, such as assisting in the preparation of bid documents and maintaining relevant databases.
- Providing HR administration support, including the planning and coordination of training, preparing HR documents and handling people queries.
- Assist with organising company events, such as conferences and team-building activities.
- Provide support for other projects and initiatives as required.
- You would be based in the South West and able to work in a hybrid manner. This is not a fully remote role.
**Required Skills**:
- Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Knowledge of social media platforms and experience managing social media accounts
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Excellent literacy skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
**Desired Skills**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management or a related field.
- Knowledge/experience of marketing.
**Interview Process**

**Salary**: £24,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
