Care Assistant

**Responsibilities**

Your role as a Waking Nights Complex Care Assistant will be based in our client's specially adapted home and you will be involved in all aspects of these young adult's care: personal care, medication, feeding, and more. The gentle young ladies enjoy daily activities such as rock climbing, horse riding, canoeing, walks outside and exploring new environments. Each day would be different, having a wide variety of stimulating activities and adventures to provide stimulation and increase their independency within the local community. You will be there to help them wind down and relax ready for their activities the next day.

The night shifts will typically be 10pm - 9am, we are looking for part time and full time members of staff.

Being able to drive is essential.** **Experience in complex care such as severe autism or complex additional needs such communication aids is required for this role.**Many of our existing staff have transferred from Support Workers or Care Assistants/aides to Westmorland Homecare Assistants; increasing their skill set and continuous professional development.
