**Salary**:
Senior Residential Support Worker - up to £31,000 + Bonuses.

Deputy Manager - up to £34,000 + Bonuses

Salary Depending on Experience and Qualifications

**Bonus Scheme**:
Monthly attendance bonus draw

**Hours**:
Monthly contracted hours - between 150 - 170 hours, pro rota, dependent upon rota patterns and days in each month.

**Essential Criteria**:

- The applicant must hold a full UK driving license.
- Experience working with children and young people in a care setting.

**Desirable Criteria**:

- QCF Level 3/4 Residential Childcare/Level 3/4 Diploma Children and Young People’s Workforce

QCF Level 5 Residential Childcare Leadership and management
- DBS on the update service

**As a Senior Support Worker/Deputy Manager, you will have the following**:

- **Experience working with young people in a residential care setting.
- The desire and passion to safeguard, motivate, and inspire young people in your care.
- Good communication skills to work effectively with colleagues, in addition to working closely alongside other external professionals.
- Ensure you provide a warm, nurturing and supportive environment for our young people to thrive in.
- The characteristics and personality to handle challenging behaviour effectively and professionally.
- The confidence to make good decisions, based upon risk assessment and the needs of the children and your colleagues.
- Assist with the day-to-day functions of the home and provide care based on specific individual needs.
- Prepare the young people for independence life, supporting them with tasks such as cooking, personal care, behaviour management and general life skills.
- The skills to work collaboratively with various multi agencies, such as Social Services, the NHS, the Police; in order to collaboratively engineer the best outcomes for our children.
