Resourcing Advisor

Davies Resourcing are working with a London based professional services business, currently just outside the top UK top 10 professional services businesses, with ambitions to grow and achieve a spot in the top 10 within the next year. As a result of this,the business is looking for experienced recruitment professionals, to join them and be a part of this exciting growth period, and to support the business in recruiting top level talent across a number of business areas. The organisation is based in the Cityof London, and operating on a hybrid working model.
Key responsibilities held in this role will include:
- Effectively and efficiently deploying our people, taking into consideration multiple requirements such as business needs, client requirements and individual development needs
- Liaising with Managers / Partners to determine resourcing requirements and working with the Retain Administrator to plan these requirements effectively
- Working with People Leads to ensure our people have fair but challenging portfolios; and regularly reviewing portfolios to ensure they continue to meet people’s needs, both professionally and personally
- Strategically working with the Resource Manager to scope future requirements for headcount growth, using pipeline and growth plan information
- Operationally supporting on headcount management and capacity planning, optimising the utilisation of our people
- Producing relevant regular MI for key stakeholders
Essential skills & experience required for this role include:
- Experience working in a scheduling, resourcing or capacity management role
- Experience working in a professional services environment
- Ability to work in a team and on your own, and to use your initiative
- Experience of managing multiple tasks and processes in a fast-paced environment and able to work to deadlines without compromising integrity
- Able to manage teams in multiple locations, reporting regularly to management
- Comfortable challenging resource decisions, with support from management where appropriate
- Strong relationship skills to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders across the business
- Can work in an operational and strategic capacity, carrying out a range of administrative and reporting tasks
