**Key Responsibilities**:
**DUTIES**
- To Deliver Maths to level 1 & 2
- To work with a caseloads of learners
- To understand and agree each learners starting point and skills development needs
- Using the companies English and Maths delivery process, to agree a training plan with each learner
- Dealing with learners face to face in our North East centres, in groups and also remotely as required
- To carry out timely earner progress reviews
- Carry out regular caseload reviews
- Ensure evidence for learning, achievement, funding and Ofsted is captured
- Working closely with Academy Manager on best practice, planning and learner needs
- Working closely with IQA’s on best practice, development needs, providing sampling
- Work and communicate at the highest level, to think strategically and to meet KPIs
- To take appropriate responsibility to ensure the health, safety and well-being of self and others

**ESSENTIAL CRITERIA**

- Qualified Maths tutor
- L3 or higher in Maths OR English (desirable)
- Hold a PTTLs/AET (or equivalent)
- Excellent presentation and communication skills - experience in training delivery
- Engaging, motivating and commands the classroom
- Extremely high attention to detail
- Strong timekeeping skills and well-prepared
- High standards of quality and efficiency
- Ability to react to changing client/learner needs in fast paced environment
- Good team player - can-do attitude, positive approach
- Self-starter, resourceful, autonomous - must be comfortable working alone
- Good customer relations skills and professional manner
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to different styles and audiences
- Ability to work and communicate at the highest level, to think strategically and to meet KPIs
- Able to take appropriate responsibility to ensure the health, safety and well-being of self and others.
- Have a good knowledge and understanding of safeguarding
- An awareness of different learning strategies and teaching methods suitable for teaching a diverse range of abilities.
- Experience of working with apprentices as well as groups of adults

**Essential Criteria**:
Learners are at the centre of everything we do so we are committed to safeguarding and promoting their welfare. If your role is applicable, the successful applicant will be required to provide satisfactory references and prove their eligibility to work in the UK.
