**MAIN ACTIVITIES**:
To follow senior warehouse and dairy staff instructions and factory procedures.

Keep in clear communication with the Dairy & Stock Control Teams.

Maintain traceability of product throughout the production schedule, including product changeover.

Keep line supplied with pallets and labels.

Report defective equipment and fabrication to Warehouse Manager / Shift Leaders.

Ensure that product quality, production and customer presentation or specifications are met.

Ensure that all data and records are maintained accurately as required.

Ensure basic food hygiene rules are obeyed at all time; maintaining good standards of general housekeeping ensuring a clean and safe environment.

Maintain a safe working environment and follow safe working practises in accordance with company procedures and Health and Safety responsibilities.

**PERSON SPECIFICATION**:

- Ability to stack finished product cases onto customer pallets & Wrap pallets securely to ensure safe transport and storage.
- Ability to collect and load packaging items, pallets and waste material.
- Experienced in recording technical and production information on check sheets, including batch information and area temperature monitoring.
- Ability to support stock control and stock rotation, with attention to detail.
- Experienced in dealing with incoming goods and completion of the associated paperwork.
- Ability to work at a speed that will ensure production efficiencies are met.
- Assist and support the line leader in production start-up, product changeover and shut down processes.
- Accurately record number of cases produced onto the production sheet QC16 to ensure this tallies to FMA & WMS systems.
- Knowledge and ability to clean as you go & end of run hygiene processes, including accurately completing cleaning records.
- Experience in the food manufacturing industry and a wealth of food industry knowledge, retailer and audit experience.
- An awareness of, and commitment to, equality of opportunity.

This is an afternoon position working 2pm-10pm but during seasonal times a rotating shift pattern is expected to meet the needs of the business.

**Salary**: £9.18-£9.85 per hour
