We are seeking a dedicated and well-organised Property Maintenance and Compliance Co-ordinator to support the daily operations of our Estates and Facilities team. This is a newly created and varied role, offering the chance to contribute significantly to the smooth running of our estate.
As the main point of contact for maintenance and compliance matters, you will be responsible for coordinating essential statutory testing across six core compliance areas:
Fire Safety, Gas Safety, Electrical Safety, Water Safety (Legionella), Asbestos Management, and Lifting Equipment (LOLER).
You will manage the Estates Maintenance Help Desk, ensuring that maintenance requests are logged, prioritised, and resolved in a timely and effective manner. The role also involves liaising with contractors, maintaining compliance records, and supporting a wide range of estate functions.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Schedule and monitor statutory testing and follow up on any necessary remedial works
- Manage the Maintenance Help Desk and coordinate day-to-day maintenance activities
- Ensure contractor compliance, including reviewing safety documentation and risk assessments
- Support the delivery of minor capital projects and oversee asset management
- Maintain accurate records for property leases, service contracts, and compliance documentation
- Assist with health and safety audits, inspections, and fire safety procedures
- Provide excellent service to staff, contractors, and visitors across all sites

- Experience in facilities management, property maintenance, or compliance coordination
- Knowledge of statutory testing requirements and contractor management
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
- Confident in maintaining accurate records and handling compliance documentation
- Proficient in the use of facilities management systems and general office software
- A proactive, solution-focused attitude with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
