**Position Summary**:
Responsible for supporting the Operations Manager in the day to day administration of the company. The role involves support with timetabling, quality assurance of reports working alongside mentors and other L2L administrators supporting aspects of recruitment and induction processes. They are also responsible for onboarding students and supporting them with internal and external communications and events.

**Management**:
Supporting the management team in support of providing guidance to a team of mentors, fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment.
- Organising meetings for the executive team, visits from schools, engagement meetings and other student focussed reviews and meetings.
- Safeguarding: Ensure that all safeguarding procedures are adhered to during mentoring sessions, promoting a safe and respectful environment for all participants.

**Operational Support**:

- To organise and attend Annual Reviews, KFC, CIN, CPC and Engagement Meetings.
- Safeguarding Level 3 to be obtained and maintained every two years, in order to support the L2L Safeguard Team.
- To liaise with parents/carers.
- Responsible for Onboarding and Offboarding with all students, including profile set-up, student information, goal setting and ensuring all students have up to date and regularly reviewed Individual Risk Assessments.
- Raise opportunities for mentor development, student development (PSHE, SEMH) and calendared events.
- Supporting the Onboarding and Offboarding with staff, organising and supporting the new staff induction processes.

**Supportive quality assurance**:

- Communication: Maintain clear and open lines of communication with both mentors and management, facilitating the flow of information and feedback.
- Daily Reports: Supporting in maintaining standards of reports and communicating with leaders where required.

**Professional Development In-Situ (L2L Sites)**:

- Continuous Professional Development: Support in the implementation of opportunities for professional growth and training for the mentor team.
- On-Hand Session Support: Be available to mentors during sessions, offering real-time support and guidance as needed to ensure smooth session delivery.

**Mentoring**
- To mentor in line with the L2L Mentoring job role and code of conduct.
- To partake on average around 15 to 18 hours per week of mentoring.
- Upon session cancellation (fulfil the Administration role at L2L locations).

**Communication**:

- Arrange/Attend Management Meetings: Support and coordinate management meetings with mentors and the management structure to discuss performance, challenges, and strategic plans.
- Coordinate meetings with schools and students.
- Supporting dissemination of information throughout the company and L2L social media.

**Required Key Skills & Competencies**:

- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to provide clear and constructive feedback.
- Observation Skills: Keen attention to detail during session observations, with the ability to identify strengths and areas for improvement.
- Mentorship Expertise: Extensive experience in mentoring, with a deep understanding of best practices and methodologies.
- Safeguarding Knowledge: Strong understanding of safeguarding principles and ability to enforce these effectively.
- Time Management: Strong organisational skills, with the ability to balance multiple responsibilities and deadlines effectively.
- Problem-Solving: Proactive and solution-oriented.
- Efficient use of technology and the Google Drive, CPOMS where necessary and have a desire to improve technological efficiency and understanding.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Education: Experience in Education, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field working closely with vulnerable young people and the teams around the child.
- Experience: Minimum of two years of experience in a mentoring or leadership role.
- Professional Development: Commitment to ongoing personal and professional growth.

**Key Relationships**:

- Internal: Mentors, Management and Executive Management Team
- External: Clients (parents/carers, schools, local authority), Partners, and other stakeholders related to mentoring programs

**Performance Indicators**:

- Improvement in mentor performance and session quality
- Positive feedback from mentors, operations, and program participants
- Adherence to safeguarding and program standards

This position is for term time only (39 weeks of the year). Any applicant requires an Enhanced DBS check before interview.
