**Job Title**:Ferndale Foods - Intake Supervisor

**Reports To (Job Title)**:Intake Manager

**Job Purpose**

To supervise and lead a team of Intake Operatives to meet current and future customer requirements, ensuring incoming, storage and supply of goods are dealt with in a professional and accurate manner.

**Context**

**Key Relationships**:

- Internal: Production (ALL), WH operative, Despatch, Accounts, HR, Engineering, Hygiene
- External: Chilled / Frozen Customer account holders, Transport & Asset accounts

**Key Responsibilities**
- Ensure Inbound booking and files have been sent and correctly booking in to ensure reduction in faults across the business and accuracy of stock
- Work with Factory colleagues to ensure any variances are investigated and corrected
- Crown (Wages) kept up to date and accurate to ensure accuracy of payment to colleagues
- RTW managing Bradford points and escalating to Intake Manager
- 1-2-1’s, counselling, PIP to be carried out as necessary to aid Identification of Disciplinary issues and ensure process is followed accurately
- Shift rota to be maintained with all team movements (Absence, Training, Holidays etc) to manage agency cover if/when required
- Day to day management checks of Colleague Accuracy to ensure all KPIs are completed
- Regular Stock Counting to ensure sufficient stock to plan for assets have been ordered and de-hired
- Strong communications to internal and external stakeholders
- Area hygiene to be maintained to guarantee audit ready standards at all times
- Ensuring transport entries on system to prevent inaccuracy of data
- Maintain suitable training levels within team for delivery of service
- Paperwork compliance checks to aid the process of audits avoiding disruption
- Day to day supervision to aid planning picking & intake operation efficiently to ensure asset control
- Driving change in team processes through Continuous Improvement and Project work to establish a balance within the team
- Overall responsibility for supervision, training and health & safety of your department to ensure relevant procedures/standards are maintained leading to accurate Accident Investigation and reduction in accidents all together
- General administration tasks

Skills and experience
- Experience of working in a warehouse environment
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Problem solving skills
- Experienced of Warehouse Management System, System 21 preferred but not essential
- Leadership by motivating team to make improvements to procedures and working practices
- Able to work under pressure
- Able to make decisions

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £27,327.30-£29,629.60 per year
