**Salary**: **Up to £28,375.00 per annum dependent on experience/qualifications**

**Hours: Full-time; Permanent **(40 hours per week, Monday to Friday - 9.00am - 5.00pm, with some flexibility to meet the needs of the home)

Acorn Education and Care, are recruiting a Children’s Home Deputy Manager to join our team in the **Nottinghamshire region.**

Hanai House is a three bed registered Children’s home. We support Male and Female Children and Young People build incredible futures by giving them opportunities, developing their life skills and personal interests.

Acorn Education and Care work directly with vulnerable children with Learning Disabilities and complex needs. This means that the Children we care for may need support to develop their day-to-day skills, including communication and practical skills. Theymay also need support to complete their personal care.

The home is based in Nottingham and is within commuting distance from Mansfield, Derby and surrounding towns and villages.

**Our next Deputy Manager will be someone who has:**
- **Mandatory:Level 3 Diploma - Children and Young People’s Workforce or equivalent.**:

- Experience of working in a residential setting
- Working knowledge of relevant legislation such as Children’s Act and Quality Care Standards
- Experience of leading and motivating teams
- Ability to effectively train individuals and groups
