**Job Title: Graduate Buyer**

**Overall, Purpose**:
The Iceland Buying Graduate scheme will put you at the heart of the Iceland Foods business. You will be responsible for developing and delivering commercial plans across a two-year period in our Frozen, Grocery and Chilled departments.

With guidance from Senior Buyers, you will be given commercial responsibility where you can make a real impact to the range and proposition which we offer to our customers.

You will work closely with suppliers, and other internal departments to ensure that we deliver a high-quality product range to our customers.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Drive profitable sales growth
- You will be responsible for a multimillion-pound category within the Iceland business, under guidance from a Senior Buyer. You will improve commercial performance through supplier negotiations, forecasting and delivery within the Iceland Buying framework for Iceland, Food Warehouse and Iceland.co.uk.
- You will have full P&L responsibility throughout the programme and the opportunity to make a real difference

- You will have full responsibility for product quality and food safety end to end. Managed and delivered via a designated Food Technologist.

- Being a Retail Buyer is a big role. You will have support from the wider business in a mini team format. You need to be a team player and able to influence and lead a cross functional team to deliver results for the business including:

- Supply Chain
- Merchandising
- Trading Admin
- Online
- Training:

- Possession of a full UK driving licence
