Veterinary Receptionist

Here at Lumbry Park we have an exciting opportunity for a Referral Receptionist to join our growing front of house team. Your new role will be to provide a friendly customer focused service in one of the most advanced specialist referral centres in the UK, based in Alton, Hampshire

**Your main responsibilities will include**:
You will be responsible for the effective administration of the main reception to pet owners, visitors and telephone callers, collection of payments and maintaining a welcoming environment in the reception and waiting area.

Work professionally within a strong team dedicated to delivering high quality client care.

Undertake and maintain effective administration processes, protocols and procedures in line with CVS requirements and those of any applicable statutory or regulatory agency.

Take responsibility for ensuring you are up to date with all required training i.e. annual online H&S training.

Your new rota will be on a shift basis. There will also be a requirement to work some Saturdays.

**What we're looking for in our Veterinary Receptionist**:

- Resilient with the ability to cope with potentially distressing and emotional situations
- An excellent communicator with strong empathy
- Excellent customer service skills and experience in dealing with members of the public
- A positive attitude and excellent teamwork skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other database management and operating systems
