General Labourer

Formby Timber is looking for a labourer delivery driver for their busy timber client based in Formby.

You will be expected to follow instructions from management and work efficiently to keep up the good reputation of the business. You will be required to have good communication skills and will be conversing directly with customers.

Duties will include but will not be limited to:

- Assist and serve customers.
- Maintain stock levels.
- Assist machinist when required.
- Driving and delivering orders.

**Requirements**:

- Physically capable of moving timber & other construction materials.
- Good communication skills.
- Flexibility to work extra hours if necessary to complete the job.
- Work part of a team and work alone.
- Clean driving licence.
- English and Maths at GCSE level at A-C (preferable).
- Building construction and timber products knowledge (preferable).
- Full driving licence (preferable)
- Forklift and side loader driving would be advantageous (preferable)

- A good knowledge of operating timber machinery: planer, cross cut saw, circular saw, band saw, bench and table saw (preferable).

Due to the location of the work having your own transport is preferable as there are no direct public transport links to the site.
