My client is a large business based in Bilston, near Wolverhampton, and they are seeking a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their growing finance department, initially on a temporary basis.

They are an evolving team, undergoing some significant changes to systems, divisional structures and processes, and require someone with end-to-end experience in the following:

- matching, batching and coding invoices, raising purchase orders, etc
- preparing payment runs
- resolving queries from suppliers
- statement reconciliations
- provision of information for month end purposes

This is an opportunity to join a dynamic organisation, that fully supports hybrid working. This will initially be a temporary role with a strong likelihood that a permanent role will ensue.

We'd like to find someone with a friendly, organised manner, with good IT skills and a solid background in accounts payable, who can help their efforts to clear a backlog and assist with the smooth transition to a new system.
