Grounds Maintenance Senior Team Leader

We are a Commercial Grounds Maintenance/ Facilities company looking to recruit a an experienced Senior Team Leader. Based in Wednesbury applicants will be required to service our Commercial Grounds Maintenance contracts with a range of different task and scheduled works on a variety of sites in and around the West and East Midlands.

Applicants will report directly to the Manager. They will need to be organised and capable of manual tasks, 3 years experience is essential. Excellent career development opportunity for anyone looking to further their career. Leading a team - applicants will need to complete all duties given to mandatory quality standards.
- Lawn mowing
- Strimming lawns and edges, defining lawn edges
- Hedge cutting & height reduction
- Mechanical weed control & Hard surface operations
- Border maintenance
- Other general gardening operations including litter picking ,refuse collection, street sweeping, leaf clearance
- Working with ride-on machinery and powered tools.
- Developing the projects and/or properties you will be working on by proactively seeking ways to enhance their appearance. To include:

- Ensuring the site is clean and tidy -, ensuring that each site is left clean, tidy and in a litter free condition at the end of the site visit. litter picking& emptying litter bins as required
- Site problem reporting including fly-tipping ,graffiti, blocked or damaged drains, vandalism.
- Assisting with basic site maintenance tasks :sweeping footpaths, car parking spaces and kerb edges, weeding borders etc
- Maintain all company equipment ; clean all tools used at the end of each day, regularly cleaning vans.

A full clean driving licence is essential and any of the below
- PA1 and PA6 spraying licence

The hours are full time Monday to Friday.
