**About the role**:
We're seeking pro-active and pragmatic HR professionals to join our People team here at AXA. We are on a journey to drive our People Strategy and agenda by coaching and challenging our leaders in their thinking and ways of working. As People Project Consultant, you'll lead the successful delivery of People projects that support the business strategy and drive transformation set out in strategic people plans.

Working closely with the Strategic People Partners, COE's and SME's to conduct research, collect and analyse data to identify issues, provide advice, and work with the team to develop and implement innovative and pragmatic solutions. You'll solve business problems that have measurable impact and add commercial value. You'll act as a main point of contact for stakeholders and will need to wear multiple hats to coordinate across different groups.

At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least 40% of your week away from home at your local office.

**What you'll be doing**:

- Work alongside the Strategic People Partners to scope key projects and manage project delivery.
- Lead, design and deliver People projects/ innovative solutions and change in partnership with the business to ensure continuous improvement and value add to the business and our customers.
- Be responsible for effective project controls and procedures within given initiatives.
- Develop and sustain collaborative working relationships across the organisation.
- Ensure that there is regular feedback on progress, milestones achieved and any blockers to success to the Strategic People Partners, People Projects and Transformation Lead and any associated key stakeholders so that they are fully engaged in the delivery outcomes and progression of the project during its lifecycle.
- Produce and deliver relevant presentation packs for key stakeholders as required to support projects or initiatives where necessary.
- A role model for AXA's Know You Can (positive and ‘can do') behaviours.
- A track record of working beyond your own business area to engage others, share best practice and deliver through others.
- Deliver project communications. For example, training managers on the delivery of communications for change related initiatives ensuring quality and consistency of message across communications.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to the business on People policies, processes and procedures relating to the project delivery.
- Analyse and report on HR MI to provide effective solutions and strategies to ensure metrics are being met and shortfalls are addressed. (e.g.,turnover, headcount, discipline and grievance, performance management, absence, reward).

**About you**:
**What we’re looking for**:

- Generalist HR work experience including managing projects
- Familiar with Project Management methodologies. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to conduct in-depth data analyses, recognize trends, tie those back to business priorities, and develop recommendations for cross-functional groups of stakeholders
- Effective stakeholder management skills, excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills essential
- Strong Consultancy skills
- Well organised, pragmatic and calm in time pressured situations
- Influencing skills - ability to influence managers at a senior level and employees at all levels
- Ability to communicate effectively at the most senior level and work with people at all levels
- Able to work in sensitive situations and maintain confidentiality
- Has up to date knowledge of employee legislation and its implications for the business Experience
- Experience managing complex change/transformation projects
