Fp&a Analyst

Grafton Banks Finance are delighted to be supporting a well-established FMCG/ Technology client with offices in the Chertsey area. Reporting into the Head of Finance, this role is an ongoing contract to support the commercial finance team with improvingthe visibility of financial performance across the business.

Duties and responsibilities:

- Planning and forecasting: oversee short and medium-term business financial forecasting, supporting senior management in the long-term planning, liaising across the business with quarterly planning.
- Reporting and Analysis: producing monthly billing tracking and profit predictions to prompt P&L result and highlight concerns, monthly reporting on P&L monthly performance, work alongside the Finance Business Partners to provide insight on financial performance,management of accruals, managing the balance sheet, supporting the senior management with monthly reporting and provide business updates.
- Data Management and Organisation: having deep understanding of the difference financial targets, work with Finance to ensure sales and profit data is readily available and at the required granular level, use extensive system knowledge to mine data independently,ensuring accurate P&L G/L mapping to clearly identify where and how costs are posted to improve P&L understanding.

Essential skills and experience required for this role:

- ACCA/CIMA/ACA part qualified/finalist (desired)
- Ability to commute to the offices 2-3 days per week
- Industry experience in technology or FMCG (desired)
- Prior experience within FP&A or Finance Business Partnering
- Advanced Excel skills (essential), this role will require modelling and managing multiple sources of data.
- Strong communication skills, ability to liaise with departments across finance and the wider business.
