Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Counter Assistant to join our team. As a Counter Assistant, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and assisting with various tasks in a fast-paced take away environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet customers and provide friendly and efficient service at the counter
- Take customer orders accurately and input them into the system
- Prepare and package food items according to established guidelines
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter area
- Assist with food preparation as needed
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations
- Manage time effectively to prioritize tasks and meet customer needs

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in a culinary or kitchen environment is preferred but not necessary.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
