**The Role**:
We are seeking a stock and systems analyst to ensure integrity across all areas of our clients’ distribution centre and its storage facilities.

**Working hours: Monday to Friday 08:00-18:00**

**Salary: £26,000-£31,000 per annum, depending on experience**

The distribution centre holds stock over multiple sites and uses a warehouse management and ordering to cash system to facilitate all the functions of a distribution business from order processing to despatch, so a good understanding of stock movements, cycle counts (PI), stock reconciliation and interfaces are essential.

The role will also require a strong analytical approach, with focus areas such as systems, stock integrity and ways of working. Proven skills in stock and systems management within an operational and IT process environment. Report creation & development plays a very important aspect within this role, sharing regular insight with the operation teams to support continuous improvement for the business.

The role will so require a strong working relationship with our publishing clients and their auditing partners providing first class communication and understanding of their stock holding position. Working with auditors to help facilitate stock take requirements for our publishers, this will be carried out virtually via the RealWear headset technology.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Participate in operational meetings and project teams when required.
- Monitor processes and procedures to ensure compliance and therefore quality and accuracy.
- Effective client communication regarding all stock queries & service level agreements.
- Work with external partners and clients in managing stock holdings and space.
- Plan, forecast and report performance, analyse data to highlight trends and plan improvements and opportunities.
- Advanced knowledge & understanding of Excel
- Ensure accurate information is conveyed throughout the operational team using the correct communication channels and methods.
- Plan and propose overstocks and potential storage cost saving opportunities to our publishing clients. Working closely with the Operations Stock & Systems Manager.
- Ensure the highest standards of housekeeping are maintained both physical and systemic.
- Identify processes and systems where improvement is required to deliver the service publishers and customers expect. Propose solutions to deliver these improvements.
- Drive workflow in the distribution centre, by ensuring high levels of stock integrity and in place at the correct facility.
- Report and communicate monthly all perpetual inventory results to both internal & external stakeholders.
- Support all audit counts and third-party relations, expectations and data requirements.
- Lead operations contact for IT when required with all system interfaces to ensure the stock reconciliation is always accurate.
- Advanced Computer literacy with an excellent understanding of all systems used, in many cases acting as a super user being able to pass knowledge to others.
- Embrace Continuous improvement and be comfortable challenging the status quo.
- Ability to manage change with involvement at all stages, from planning and testing through to Implementation.
- Create and maintain effective communications across other operational teams.
- Encourage and support change and continuous improvement.
- Work with the wider management teams to promote and maintain and high performing culture.
- Work alongside VNA and automation operations mangers to ensure available space within the areas are always to the expected level of 10%.
- Ensure company policies are adhered to, raising any issues to the relevant parties as appropriate.
- Operate in accordance with best practice, ensuring organisational and legal compliance with regards to Environmental Management.
- Operate in accordance with the appropriate Health and Safety legislation and site best practice.
- Have a flexible approach to shift times worked to ensure support is provided to all areas of the operation, covering and supporting all operational managers.
- Any other duties as may be reasonably requested in line with the job role.
