Serve Talent have teamed up with an industry leading air cargo business based in the East Midlands and they're looking for a PHP Developer to join their team.

Working on a remote/hybrid basis, within the development department, you will be responsible for the creation, upgrade and maintenance of in house software and infrastructure.

**You, as a PHP Developer, will be responsible for the following**:

- Development of software to a high standard and within appropriate schedules.
- Triaging bugs and live issues.
- Attending planning sessions and providing technical feedback to requirements.
- Maintenance of infrastructure and software projects.
- Writing development stories from business specifications.
- Aiding deployments of software.
- Liaising with the IT and testing teams.
- Communicating technical solutions to the business.
- Upgrading software and infrastructure components.
- Working to defined processes to define time schedules and plan workload.

**Here is what is required of you as a PHP Developer**:

- High standard of development and knowledge of best practice.
- Past experience of working in a team.
- Ability to maintain an understanding and overview of several projects.
- A good understanding of development processes.
- Ability to communicate technical ideas to non-technical colleagues.
- Strong PHP & JS knowledge.
- 2+ years of Laravel experience.
- Good experience of GIT.
- Good MySQL knowledge.
- Familiarity with Docker.
- Knowledge of NGINX & Apache.
