Epsom, United Kingdom University for the Creative Arts Full time

We are currently seeking a Technical Tutor in Photography who has extensive experience and expertise in a wide range of photographic equipment, techniques and software, to join our Technical Services Team. You will be working in our photographic studios at the Epsom Campus and will work closely with our students to aid their technical development and assisting with the day-to-day function of our resources.

You will be reporting to the Technical Services Manager, fulfilling a range of duties that include assisting staff and students with a wide range of photographic equipment studio set ups and lighting. You will also assist with the preparation of learning materials, setting up teaching studios, mounting exhibitions, and contribute to the maintenance of a range of related technical resources.

Whilst working under pressure, you will be able to demonstrate a positive and flexible approach when working with students and staff, and the ability to work as part of a team is essential.

Our campuses across Surrey and Kent are vibrant communities, each specialising in different areas of the creative industries. We are also home to a thriving research hub, with academic experts and fellows leading the way in research on sustainability, design, têxtiles, animation, history and culture, and more.

Are you ready to share your passion for creativity with the next generation of innovators? If so, we want to hear from you.
