**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assisting the class teacher with planning and delivering engaging lessons
- Supporting students with their learning, both in small groups and on a one-to-one basis
- Helping to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Encouraging students’ social and emotional development
- Preparing resources and materials for lessons
- Supervising children during break times and school activities
- Providing additional support to children with special educational needs (SEN) where required

**About You**:

- A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their learning
- Teaching Assistant qualification desirable
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or SEN support role is essential
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A patient, compassionate, and proactive approach
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- Level 3 Safeguarding training (or willingness to complete training provided by Humly).

In accordance with the safeguarding vulnerable groups’ regime [2006] & the relevant Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSiE) DfE guidance, **any offer of employment made will be conditional upon the results of checks from the Disclosure & Barring Service** (“the DBS”) and Teacher Services (regarding teacher prohibition/disqualification from working with children and young people).
