**Trainee/ Junior Insurance Account Handler - Chandler’s Ford, Southampton**

**So, what does the role of an Insurance Account Handler here involve?**

This role will be made for you if you would love to learn to foster relationships and help clients find the right Insurance products to fit their needs. Our Account Handlers are excellent at working with clients on the phone or via video calls and occasionally face to face. Our clients will need your support all year round.

As an Account Handler here, it isn’t only about the “upsell” or the “cross sell”. Unlike similar roles focussed on growth, working with us puts you in a unique position to offer clients solutions from a diverse range of brands and wide breadth of products with huge opportunity across the Ardonagh Group.

You will learn to:

- Place cover when instructed, inviting and confirming renewals, dealing with mid-term adjustments and provide assistance in claims issues when appropriate. You will, in time, control your own diary.
- Assist customers in relation to claims queries.
- Provide new business quotes for all classes of personal lines, provide advice, information and guidance and onboard clients as required.
- Take instructions from existing customers in relation to alterations.
- Collect monies from clients within the Company’s agreed credit period and ensure documentation is issued and received in a timely fashion.
- Build and maintain strong open relationships with both clients and insurers.

**What experience do our Trainee/Junior Account Handlers need?**

No experience in an insurance role is necessary as full training will be given. However, if you do have some experience in any insurance setting, that would be advantageous. We also offer the opportunity to gain relevant industry qualifications that will support your insurance career.

This is an office-based role until training is complete and competencies are met and then, a hybrid working option can be considered with your line manager.
