Due to a rapid growth in the business we have now extended our premises and are looking to recruit an additional qualified vehicle technician / mechanic. Working in a friendly team for a local family owned business on a full time or part-time permanent basis based on the outskirts of Okehampton. (Exbourne)
On offer is an extremely competitive salary package, 28 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays, staff discount on MOTs servicing and parts. We can offer job security with a business established in the 1950's we have excellent staff retention and a real family feel to the business, working in a highly dedicated and friendly team. We have recently increased our staffing levels due to increased demand but we are now aiming to recruit another member of the team as we have increased capacity due to the expansion of the premises.
We pride ourselves on excellent service while maintaining and repairing our valued customers vehicles to an exceptionally high standard.
We are a friendly team and our customers are paramount to our business so good customer service and friendly helpful attitude towards our customers and staff is essential.
You will be competent on completing diagnostic work, vehicle repairs and servicing. You must be able to demonstrate ability to work on light commercial and non-commercial vehicles without supervision.
Full time hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am to 17:30pm 1/2 hour paid overtime (time and half) each day and we also have availability to work Saturday mornings (paid at time and half if you so wish, we are more than flexible)
2 x 15 minute paid breaks in addition to half an hour lunch break.
