**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components from drawings and specifications.
- Perform welding tasks using stick welding techniques, ensuring high-quality welds that meet industry standards.
- Operate various power tools and hand tools safely and effectively for cutting, shaping, and finishing metal parts.
- Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve fabrication processes.
- Utilise basic maths skills for measurements and calculations necessary for accurate fabrication.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in welding, particularly with stick welding techniques.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings and specifications.
- Experience working with sheet metal is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools relevant to fabrication tasks.
- Basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and layout work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Pay: £13.86-£14.44 per hour
