Switchboard Operator

**As a Switchboard Operator you will have the responsibility of the following tasks**:

- Greeting and navigating inbound calls from our ‘virtual switchboard environment'.
- Speak in a clear, polite, and friendly manner.
- Use a bespoke system to direct callers to the correct department or person.
- Handling enquiries and requests in line with our customers’ wishes.
- Conduct yourself with politeness, proficiency, personality, and professionalism at all times.
- Minimum education of A-Level or equivalent.
- Previous experience in switchboard, telephone reception, customer service, hospitality or in the legal sector is preferred.
- Experience of using Microsoft (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Be able to multi-task (expectation to be able to deal with more than one call at a time).
- Be confident in speaking and writing English.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment.

**This role is a full-time, 40 hour contract covering flexible hours between 11am to 11:00pm, Monday to Sunday. The salary for this role starts at £25,000.**
