You’ll be joining the award-winning phs Greenleaf team as an Exterior Horticultural Technician. We are a leading supplier of interior and exterior plant care, displays and grounds maintenance services. **A day in the life of an Exterior Horticultural Technician at phs Greenleaf will involve**:

- Maintaining and watering our fantastic floral and plant displays on customer premises to specified standards and completing all necessary paperwork as required
- Responding to urgent customer requests as directed by the office
- Maintaining a high level of productivity whilst also ensuring the highest quality of service
- Looking after our stock by handling it correctly and storing it securely to maintain the quality of plant displays on customer premises
- Taking care of our equipment, taking responsibility for keeping it clean after use
- Ensuring that the company vehicle provided is maintained and looked after and all necessary paperwork is completed
- To act as an ambassador for phs Greenleaf, wearing the company uniform and keeping it presentable, and being polite and courteous to colleagues and customers at all times
- As an ambassador for phs Greenleaf you will be speaking with our customers, so excellent communication skills are a must - we are always polite, positive and self-motivated to do a great job
- Previous experience in plant maintenance and/or grounds maintenance
- You will need to be experienced in maintaining floral and plant displays, plant care and gardening, with a methodical approach and excellent attention to detail
- A full UK manual driving licence

**Preferred (But not essential) skills may include;**:

- Lantra Training
- NPTC
- PA1
- PA6
- Experience and licence for towing trailers

**In return for your commitment and expertise as an Exterior Horticultural Technician, you will receive**:

- A salary of £19,526 (Based on a 40-hour working week Monday to Friday)
- No scheduled weekend working.
- 13 paydays per year (Every 4 weeks)

**phs** Greenleaf also supplies more than 2,500 decorated Christmas trees each year to organisations across the country. Its specialist Christmas production team spend most of the year decorating artificial trees in preparation for the festiveseason, while Greenleaf’s real trees are harvested at a sustainable farm in the Midlands. Each tree is available in a wide range of sizes - from a standard 7ft tree to as high as 30ft tall alongside the 3ft tabletop tree, decorative wreaths, garlands and floralarrangements.
