- Supporting enforcement officers in identifying, investigating, and resolving breaches of housing legislation.
- Learning how to provide written or verbal advice, warnings, legal notices, and other enforcement actions.
- Contributing to the maintenance and improvement of housing standards and well-being in our community.

We’ll provide **on-the-job training and support** to help you develop the skills, knowledge, and experience needed to progress to a **Housing Enforcement Officer**role in the future.

**What We’re Looking For**

We’re looking for individuals with potential, passion, and commitment to make a difference. You’ll need:

- **Educational Background**: Achieved at least Level 3 qualifications in Maths, English, and Science.
- **Commitment to Growth**: A willingness to undertake a professional qualification.
- **Housing Knowledge**: A basic understanding of the statutory functions of local authorities in private sector housing enforcement and licensing.
- **IT Skills**: Proficiency in using IT software packages, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
