Inanch London, a multi-award winning salon has created a new role and is searching for a highly competent Salon Receptionist. This person must have the passion and drive to enhance the salon’s core brand values - client care, creativity and professionalism. As the Salon Receptionist this individual will play a big part in ensuring that the “client journey” is always at 5-star standards.

**The Job Role**:
Running all aspects of the front-of-house including:

- Reception - ensuring smooth running of the appointment diary, bookings and telecommunications.
- Being aware of stylist timing and capability on the salon floor.
- Cashing off daily takings / banking.
- Retail knowledge and sales - ability to upgrade client services.
- Adhering to salon procedures and policies.
- Maximising the client service and experience.
- Opening / Locking up Salon.
- To maintain the salons standards in customer service and appearance including cleaning and presentation.
- Stock checks / stock orders.
- Maintenance of salon’s Health & Safety procedures.
- Assisting Salon Management with ad hoc duties.

**Reception & Operations**:

- To ensure that the salon and the reception desk runs smoothly at all times by continuously liaising with stylists and beauticians to ensure that the appointment diary times and bookings are always accurate.
- Ensuring all services provided is to the salon’s exceptional standards and improvements are continually sought through feedback from the team and clientele.
- Cashing off daily takings and end of day reports.
- Maintaining stock levels and stock orders - maximising sales opportunities and minimising wastage.
- Ensure salon music system is on and appropriate music playing.
- Ensure salon’s Air Conditioning system is at appropriate level.
- Taking and preparing hair extension orders for other salons.

**Front-Of-House Cleanliness**:

- To ensure that the front-of-house (reception, bar, waiting area) is kept exceptionally clean and tidy at all times.

**Sales & Marketing**:

- Upgrading clients to additional services (colour, beauty, nails, treatments, etc) to maximize client sales.
- Occasional telemarketing.
- Soft-selling products - ‘do you require any shampoos / conditioners today?’ - ability to educate clients with aftercare products
- Full product knowledge - using supplier literature.

- The salon is a 5-star rated, up-market salon and NOT a standard high-street salon.

- Each and every client has a unique profile and must be looked after appropriately - booking type, refreshments, likes / dislikes.
- The client must be treated like royalty throughout their visit.
- Service and our brand values are of utmost importance.
- The Receptionist role is extremely important to the overall service.
- Must portray a professional image at ALL times and must take ownership of running the salon.
- Dress Code: smart wear and smart appearance at all times.

**Salary / Hours**:

- Up to £14.00 per hour (based on level of experience)
- Working 3-4 days a week (up to 44 hours)
