**Job overview**:
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, confident and committed individuals to join our Health Records Team. This is a full time 37.5 hour permanent post working Mon-Fri, between the hours of 8am - 6pm. You will be based at Royal Oldham site but will be required to work across all sites to provide cover for annual leave and sickness.

**Main duties of the job**:
You will be responsible for the Clinic preparation for both inpatient and outpatient services, reception duties ensuring demographic details are checked and recorded, and also prepping episode files for the Day Forward shipment. Attention to detail is imperative. Booking new and follow up appointment's within an agreed time limit. Using Patient Centre, Evolve and the eRS booking system. Appropriate training will be provided but IT skills linked with good keyboard skills would be an advantage along with an excellent telephone manner. General patient queries and other admin tasks relevant to the role. Applicants must be flexible and adaptable with their working hours to cross cover.

**Experience**:

- Experience of working in a reception or administrative role preferably in a health care environment
- Knowledge of a hospital based Patient Administrative System
- Previous experience of data entry / input

**Skills and Knowledge**:
**Essential criteria**:

- Understanding of confidentiality, data protection and Caldicott principles
- Good level of numeracy and literacy
- Good keyboard and PC skills

**Other**:

- Adaptability and flexibility
- Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise own work load
