Axcis Education has a position available for a teaching assistant in a mainstream primary school in Preston. This would be a full time role, working Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 3.30pm. The position is a general teaching assistant working with a joint year 3/4 class. You would be supporting the class teacher where necessary and keep the children engaged with their work. There are some SEND needs within the class, including but not limited to autism, ADHD, global developmental delay and some social, emotional and mental heath needs.

The school is a lovely smaller than average primary school in the Ribbleton area of Preston. It is a well regarded school within the community. In its most recent inspection, the school was rated as 'good' by OFSTED with particular note given to the leadership of the headteacher. There is an excellent group of support staff in place to assist any new starters. There is a car park on site for those who drive, while there are good public transport links within 10 minutes walk.
