The Shap Wells Hotel is looking for a Hotel Porter to join our team. We are a busy 108 bedroom hotel with function suites capable of hosting 400 guests. Our hotel is set in a remote part of rural Cumbria on the edge of the Lake district and is surrounding by stunning wild landscape and nature.

Your role would be flexible and varied from covering night porter shifts ensuring the safety and security of our guests and hotel, to daytime shifts, assisting our guest with there luggage to there room, guest requests, maintaining the cleanliness of the hotels lounges throughout the day, assisting our F&B team with service when required, setting up/breaking down our banqueting rooms, light maintenance duties.

In return we can offer live in accommodation, free meals whilst on duty, employee discount, participation in a shared tip scheme

Previous hotel experience would be preferred but is not essential
