Our client in Daventry are looking to recruit a Stock and Administration Clerk to join their team. As a Stock and Administration clerk you will be essential in implementing and monitoring procedures to ensure that the correct inventory is in the right place in the correct warehouse locations. The position will assist the warehouse and management team to develop and implement a formal program to audit all areas related to inventory movement for integrity and accuracy. You will lead the cycle count process and identify and eliminate issues as you come across them. You will assist customers with their inventory queries providing an effective and timely resolution and support the warehouse operations team with administration support. You will be responsible for the entire process from beginning to end introducing innovation where possible to have a positive impact on results, enhance profitability and assist the business to meet its objectives and goals.

**Duties**:

- Management of all process providing inventory support to customers and operational teams in the execution of daily and weekly processes
- Develop, implement and monitor all key functions related to inventory to assure that they are accurate and timely
- Prevention and detection of stock errors ensuring all inventory records and databases are maintained accurately and always reflect the reality
- Coordinate cycle count program and create and promote a perpetual inventory environment
- Perform thorough investigations and document inventory discrepancies using all available resources to identify root cause and provide solution
- Is responsible for customer returns ensuring all returns are processed, labelled and put-away to a location within 36 hours maintaining full traceability
- Provide full support to customers and the business for all trace-ability exercises including mock recall exercises
- Analyse all inbound transfers ensuring all exceptions are remedied in a timely manner
- Coordinate and manage all customer stock take including year-end processes including confirming 3rd party auditors and providing all required documentation
- Manage, coordinate and administer the entire disposal process for all customers. Includes working directly with 3rd party contractors and arranging transport where required
- Expedites the flow of daily orders to the warehouse for picking and shipping and provide administration support covering Goods-In, Put-Away and query resolution
- Report on KPIs to measure the effectiveness and accuracy of the inventory control processes
- Maintain an open dialogue with other departments to coordinate activities and improve performance and productivity
- Provide management reports highlighting aged stock, damages and shrinkage
- Enforce and uphold all company, regulative and legislative policies
- Develop sound working relationships with suppliers, contractors and customers
- Represent company at official meetings whether on or off site
- Develop and maintain customer confidence in and understanding of their products and processes
- Adhere to and promote all department and company policy and decisions
- Providing and promoting the service necessary to meet the company's goals and needs of all the company's clients

**Skills, Qualifications & Experience required**:

- Strong analytical, communication, writing and presentation skills
- Good knowledge and experience of Microsoft programs including, Navision, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Understanding of inventory control methods and principles
- Analysis: Proven ability to analyse processes and data to provide sound conclusions and recommendations
- Accurate and efficient in processing data
- Ability to manage multiple demands
- Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills
- Strong team ethic
- Ability to work independently

**Shifts and Salary**:
Temporary ongoing
Monday - Thursday 12pm - 8pm
£12 per hour

**Salary**: £12.00 per hour

Schedule:
