**Customer Service Assistant**

**Pay rate**: £11.50

**Hours**:28 hours per week, doing:

- 4 shifts of 12.30pm - 6pm (22 hours)
- 1 shift 12pm-6pm (6 hours)
- Total: 5 days and 28 hours per week

**Start date**: ASAP

**End date**: End of October, slightly extension.

Our academic client in Winchester is looking for a customer service assistant to support them during their busy period. The role requires somebody that has good attention to detail with previous customer service experience being a plus. This is an excitingand interesting role supporting a lovely team.
- Responsible for welcoming and attending to customers and to provide advice and support.
- Undertake a variety of routine activities and administrative processes in accordance with written procedures and standards within the team.
- Responsible for the secure handling of a variety of confidential items (e.g. post, keys, personal identification items) for customers.
- To provide information about and signposting towards services and/or deal with general enquiries
- Provide assistance to the team in managing fire alarm situations.
- To make accurate and effective use of computerised office systems to create and revise documents, analyse data and communicate with colleagues and external customers.
- To complete purchasing and sales processes, maintaining stock inventory as required.
- The post holder is expected to plan own work activities to contribute to the achievement of departmental objectives and maintain and/or improve efficiency.
- Any other duties as allocated by the line manager following consultation with the post holder.
