Role: Junior Project Manager Industry: Tech and Software Location: Birmingham - hybrid working **Salary**: £27k - £32k CX Squared are partnered with an innovation and technology business in the heart of Birmingham who are looking for someone with the right ambitions to join their projects team. You will be working on new B2B projects where you will be supported by the business to develop in the role of project manager. You will ideally have experience of working in a role where you manage assignments or even "projects" and could even come from a recruitment background where you manage "recruitment projects" for clients and are looking to leave the industry to work as ajunior project manager. You might have a passion for technology or digital but will need to demonstrate examples where there are some transferable skills. As a junior project manager you will handle a wide variety of different projects at any one time spanning a broad range of industries so must be able to adjust the frequency and style of communication to match the requirements of the client. Knowledge Requirements: Project management - or a similar role which is transferable; You might be a project co-ordinator in your first role and are keen to make the full transition to project manager. Responsibilities, to include but not limited to: - Create a strong and meaningful relationships with customers - Ensure a robust project plan created and managed for each specific client project, using internal process and project management tools. - Be honest and communicative with everyone involved in the process - Be clear with any offshore teams. - Adhere to budgets and project timelines Essential Skills: - Passion to work as a project manager - Knowledge of project management terminology through own learning - Confidence to deal with external stakeholders - An understanding of technology sector - maybe by having a background in another job / role - maybe technology recruitment? - Critical thinker with good problem-solving - Excellent communication skills - written and - Proactive can-do attitude and strong commitment to delivery - Keeness to learn on the job and be curious - Ability to delegate work appropriately in order to maximise efficiency Due to the nature of this role we can move quickly and aim to have first stage interviews lined up the first week of March.
