Finance Administrator

We are about to expand our Finance Department and are looking for an enthusiastic individual, who wishes to join our dedicated team.

This role is for a Finance Admin Assistant with a full structured development plan in place offering rapid career progression.
This person must have a desire to work hard and be open to learning. Our experienced team will guide you through your training & development. This would be the perfect opportunity for someone who will take ownership of their tasks and deliver within agreed timescales.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Purchase / Sales Ledger
- Ensure invoices are sent to clients within set deadlines via portal system
- Produce ad-hoc reports
- Ensure timely payments from our clients while maintaining positive relationships
- Resolve invoice queries
- Reconciling bank and supplier statements
- Assist with Monthly VAT returns and Monthly Payroll preparation
- Assist with any other tasks within the Finance Department
**Experience Required**:
- Experienced in purchase / sales ledger
- Competent with Sage 50 (or similar Sage package)
- Excellent numeracy and literacy skills
- Excellent interpersonal, organisational, time management and attention to detail skills
- Payroll experience would be welcomed but is not essential
**The Package**:
£24k - £26k per annum
35-40 hours per week (hours are negotiable)
25 days annual leave, moving to 30 days annual leave with long service plus all Bank Holidays
**Full UK driving licence is essential for this role**
**Enhanced DBS check will be required for this role (at companies expense)**
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £24,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
